MMAJunkie is reporting that UFC: Undisputed 3 will be released on Valentine's Day 2012.
MMAJunkie:
"UFC Undisputed 3" includes the addition of the UFC's bantamweight and featherweight divisions, as well as a "PRIDE rules" game-play option and fighter walkouts.
The upcoming version also has updated gameplay options that allow for simpler controls in the sometimes-complex title. New positions such as a standing guillotine choke and seated positions against the cage were also implemented. Additionally, fighters can now sway on the floor to avoid damage, and the bouts conclude with a FightMetric-style data presentation.
"'UFC Undisputed 3' is on track to deliver an incredible virtual MMA experience unlike any other," Danny Bilson, executive vice president of core games at THQ, recently stated. "This product is intense, engaging and highly competitive while still being extremely accessible, making it a must-have for millions of UFC fans, traditional fighting game enthusiasts and more casual sports fans around the world."
Undisputed 2 is a great game. It sounds like this latest installment is going to surpass it,
Battlefield vs. Call of Duty
Choices, Choices, Choices...
You either choose or... well, I guess you play something else. Call of Duty or Battlefield? Lets break them down-- or more like, let me tell you what I believe matters as an avid FPS gamer. I'll start by saying that I have already made my choice if you saw my previous post.
Call of Duty has been a giant power house for the last couple of years even after that recent Infinity Ward and Activision debacle. As for their most recent game, Black Ops, I've played the story, and I have to be honest, but I was not impressed. It is said that there is one copy of Black Ops (PS3 or Xbox) in every seven homes in America. That's a bold but very unbelievable harsh truth that most people like to fluff storylines (One word: Transformers.). But I digress. The multiplayer gameplay is the real seller of this game. And again I was not impressed. You get killed with one pellet to the pinky, OK, maybe I'm overdoing it, but it's more like a BB to the ankle. Sniping is a straight joke because the maps are the size of a shoe box. Vehicles are non existent (well they are there but you can't ride them), and the character class types are too similar from one another so it doesn't really matter who you choose to play with. Did I mention that there are no vehicles? I still scratch my head over the fact that it got such high scores.

The Era of The Bat - Living in The Golden Age of Batman

Folks, we are living in a great time. Yeah the economy still blows and the unemployment rate keeps going up, but at times like these you gotta appreciate what you do have. Find the silver lining. iPhones! The internet! Comic book movies! ThunderCats cartoons! Game of Thrones! HD TVs! I could go on.
I must highlight one thing in particular, though! I believe we are living in the Golden age of Batman. Yes I said it!
If you are a fan of Batman, you are in heaven with what has transpired in the last five years or so. There may have been times in history where Batman has had more popularity or more products being sold, but I don't remember another time when the mythos of Batman has been handled with more care and done so spectacularly well.

Comics Alliance has design pics of Marvel's MMO game. The game is written by uber Marvel scribe Brian Michael Bendis. Unlike DC's MMO, you will not be creating your own hero/villain to control, but rather you will be controlling an actual Marvel character. No gameplay has been shown yet but it will be a "free-to-play" game. Check out some character designs below:

Why Are Videogames So Easy Now?

When I'm hanging out with the fellas on any particular game night you will usually here a lot smack-talking, a lot of goofing, and a variety of topics that will include comics, movies, women and games. When we get to talking about games, we end up reminiscing about our youth and the games we played. Times were simpler then, as were the graphics. But if you ask anybody, games back in the day weren't simple. In fact the cutesy simple graphics of the 8bit and 16bit era were hiding the fact that games were insanely difficult.
So, what is the definition of a hard game?

X-Men: First Class Sequel?
at
1:46 PM
By
Boogie Knight
Total Film caught up with James McAvoy and he spoke about wanting to make a sequel to First Class (also because he is "contractually obligated!"). Regardless, of whether he is obligated or not, McAvoy says he is up for another go around with director Matthew Vaughn and the rest of the cast. He says he has spoken with the director about ideas for a sequel but would not discuss them. McAvoy says:
I’ve spoken to Matthew [Vaughn] about ideas, but I can’t tell you what they are because they may or may not be the story. One thing I liked about our one was that it was different from the other three films where the X-Men are the good guys, Wolverine’s figuring out who he is and Magneto is the bad guy.
This was a completely different thing. Magneto wasn’t a bad guy, we were friends. We’re now set up to go back to the way the other movies are, so we’ve got to try to be cleverer than that.
X-Men: First Class went on to make $356.2 million worldwide.
If McAvoy, Fassbender, and director Vaughn all come back for a sequel, I am all for it.

I have watched my fair share of television throughout my years of existence. Some really bad shows and some really good ones. There are some TV series that have very cool theme songs that you can't wait to hear or sing or hum. Some them songs that are so catchy, that you downloaded them onto your iPod and later on to your smarphones (I know I did). Anyways, the following theme songs are some of my favorites that keep getting stuck in my head.
