Shinji Mikami Returns to Survival Horror In Tango Gameworks' First Game **UPDATE**

Here's the first teaser image of Tango Gameworks' survival horror game codenamed "Zwei." Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, God Hand the best beat-em-up ever, Vanquish the best shooter ever) will be directing this game, which reminds me, what the heck was that other game where he was an executive producer? Does this mean that Tango is making TWO games? Forget about Resident Evil, since they are going all Call of Duty to the series, Capcom has absolutely no idea what made the series so great in the first place. Mikami knows how to make a true survival horror game.
Our latest project's codename is "Zwei" and it is a survival horror game.
The above image is a collage of different environments we put together for this announcement and is intended to give a feel for the tone and the direction the production is taking. (However, neither the code name nor the image is intended to tell you exactly what is in the game.)

As a master of the 'survival horror' genre, Shinji Mikami is committed to making a game that is the realization of pure survival horror, an experience which he defines as one that pushes the limits of fear and exhilaration. He and his team at Tango are committed to attaining this vision.
Here's a comment from Shinji Mikami:
I've found my focus and once again I'm striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on to see the quality is there. Rest Assured.

**UPDATE** 2:05PM
Shinji Mikami is confirmed to be the executive director. Ikumi Nakamura is the director for "Zwei." Nakamura worked on Okami and Bayonetta as the concept designer. Looks like Tango is only working on one game. Either way, I'm still super psyched for "Zwei."
